How to Apply to the Honors Program

Each year, Roanoke invites about 35 incoming freshmen and first-term sophomores, including international students, to join the Honors Program. Having demonstrated excellent academic performance, extracurricular interests and leadership abilities, these talented students engage in a rich and rewarding experience involving unique curricular and co-curricular programs.

Each honors student receives the Davis Honors Scholars Award. This $1,000 grant is renewable each year a student remains in good standing with the program.

Steps in Applying

1. Complete the admissions application by the appropriate date or earlier.

2. Complete the Honors application at the earliest date possible-preferably by the end of January.

3. When you receive your invitation to join the program, secure your place in the program by making a deposit to Roanoke and accepting the invitation. Invitations are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to qualified students.
