Established by the Board of Trustees in 1969, The Roanoke College Associates program exists to recognize and honor individuals and corporations who make generous annual investments in the College. Currently, there are 749 members whose tremendous impact on the success of the Roanoke Fund totals over 93% of yearly fund-raising effort.

Members enjoy special reserved seating at a variety of College events, receptions with endowed lecture series speakers, and are honored at a formal recognition event held every October in conjunction with the fall Board of Trustees meeting. Guest speakers at this event have included Zbigniew Brzezinski, Cokie Roberts, Bob Woodward, Al Roker, Dee Dee Myer, Marlin Fitzwater, Dr. Buzz Aldrin, Gregory Hines, Ben & Jerry, Ellis Marsalis, and most recently Homer Hickam, author of October Sky.

"Roanoke served me well throughout my four years with programs, professors, friends and a great education. I thought I would give something back."
