Job Fairs
Students and graduates from Roanoke College are invited to participate in the following career and job fairs. For more information on any of the events, call the number indicated for the sponsor of the respective event, or contact Ms. McLawhorn in the Roanoke College Office of Career Services at (540) 375-2303, mclawhorn@roanoke.edu.
The Roanoke College Education Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, 8:30am-3:00pm, in the Colket Center Ballroom on campus. Interested employers may contact about participating.
The 26th annual CHALLENGE JOB AND INTERNSHIP FAIR will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Kirkley Hotel in Lynchburg, VA. Information is available at www.challengejobfair.com. If you have questions or need something further, email Toni McLawhorn (mclawhorn@roanoke.edu) CHALLENGE is a job fair specifically for seniors and juniors attending Hampden-Sydney, Lynchburg, Randolph, and Roanoke Colleges, and Hollins and Longwood Universities, and Virginia Military Institute. Students from Career Premiere institutions are also invited to attend Challenge as part of our collaborative efforts. Employer registration for CHALLENGE is now open!
The Roanoke College Internship Fair has taken place for Fall 2009. We are considering a second event for spring 2010. There is no fee to employers to participate! The 7th annual Careers & the Disabled Career Expo will be held on Friday, November 13 from 10am-3pm at the Ronald Reagan International Building in Washington, DC. Details may be found at www.eop.com/expo.
A Boston Career Forum will be held on November 20-22, 2009, at the Boston Convention & Enhibition Center, from 9am-7pm on the 20th and 21st, and from 9am-3pm on the 22nd. for details, visit www.careerforum.net/event/bos/index.asp?lang=E

Southern Teachers Agency will hold their spring Recruitment Fair on March 19, 2010 in Charlottesville, VA. For more details, contact their office at 434-295-9122.
