American Chemical Society Student Affiliates - saacs@roanoke.edu
The American Chemical Society is available to students of chemistry, biochemistry and related subjects through membership as Student Affiliates. The activities of the chapter consist of regularly scheduled meetings, featuring speakers from industry and other academic institutions, field trips, and social events.

Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society - tribeta@roanoke.edu
The Eta Eta Chapter of Beta Beta Beta National Biological Society was established at Roanoke College in 1957. Active members are men and women who are making the study of biology one of their major interests. To be eligible for election to active membership, you must have completed at least three courses in biology with an average of B or better. Students ineligible for active membership may join as associate, non-voting members.

College Bowl - collegebowl@roanoke.edu
College Bowl is an inter-collegiate competition of the mind! It's a quick response questions and answer format game that is played in teams. Each year, the College Bowl team sponsors a campus competition with prizes awarded to the winning teams. An "all-star" team is selected to compete against other schools in a regional tournament. The RC College Bowl Team was the Region 5 Winner in 2002 and competed for the National Championship!

Historical Society - historic@roanoke.edu
Founded in 1875 by the college's first president, David F. Bittle, the Historical Society is the oldest student organization on campus. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join. The society plans outings to historical sites, hosts films and speakers, and sponsors socials two or three times a year. Contact any History Department faculty member in the Courthouse for further information.

Honors Association - honors@roanoke.edu
The Honors Association is the "student arm" of the Honors Program curriculum at Roanoke College. The Association's activities include organizing Preliminary Enrichment Program events, a series of cultural and community service activities that are integral to the Honors curriculum. Additionally, the Association plans a week-long annual conference that invites the campus and the local community to consider a timely academic or social topic. The Association sponsors a variety of activities for Honors students and for all Roanoke College students as appropriate opportunities for doing so arise. All members of the Honors Program are considered members of this group and are thus involved in the student governance of Honors at Roanoke College.

Model U.N. - modelun@roanoke.edu
The primary goal of the organization is to foster greater knowledge of United Nations' activities and international affairs. In addition, members attend simulations at other schools and may also sponsor their own simulations at Roanoke College. Such participation will expand awareness within the college community of international organizations, the United Nations in particular. Membership is open to any student.

The purpose of the Roanoke College Psychology Association is to encourage and stimulate interest in the area of psychology and to provide a forum where members can obtain information about the psychological field, serve Roanoke College and surrounding community, and meet others with similar interests. The Psychology Association aims to promote all aspects relating to Psychology and foster the knowledge of its members at all times.

The mission of the Roanoke Valley Student Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is to facilitate the professional growth of human resource management students, provide networking assistance, and offer service opportunities for today's students and tomorrow's leaders. Students Interested in Health Careers
Students Interested in Health Careers was founded in 2005. Its purpose is "to work independently and with the Health Professions Advisory Group to sponsor activities and programs related to health, medicine, and the health professions and to foster a sense of camaraderie among students interested in the health professions."
