Roanoke College's international education week will take place November 12 - 16 and features the events listed below. Monday, November 12 "Oh Calcutta, 2007" Dr. Ranajoy Bhattacharyya, Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Images from Calcutta, India with discussion on contemporary India. Noon Garrett Seminar Room Upstairs in Colket Student Center Tuesday, November 13 "Blood Diamond" An ex-mercenary turned smuggler (Leonard DiCaprio) and a Mende fisherman (Djimon Hounsou) join to recover a rare pink diamond and rescue the fisherman's son, conscripted as a child soldier in Sierra Leone's civil war. "Freedom Writers" An amazing true story of strength, courage, and achievement in the face of adversity.
