ROANOKE VALLEY RESIDENTS WILL NOT BE GIVEN PERMISSION TO STAY IN RESIDENCE HALLS DURING CLOSED PERIODS
OR FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS PAST THEIR LAST CLASS OR EXAM.
CONDITIONS FOR STUDENTS STAYING IN THE RESIDENCE HALLS DURING CLOSED PERIODS
1. Do not invite or allow anyone into the building who is not authorized to be there or who you don 't know.
2. Report immediately any persons unauthorized to be in the hall to the Campus Safety Office, x2310.
3. Report any unusual circumstances or activities to the Campus Safety Office, x2310.
4. No food service is available during closed periods. Your sponsor or you are responsible for your meals.
5. Campus services are not available during closed periods, i.e., Health Services, etc. If you require medical attention during closed periods the following services are available:

6. Residence Life staff, i.e., AC, RA, is not "on duty" or available in the buildings during closed periods or they may be engaged in extensive training. The Campus Safety Office, x2310, is available in emergency situations.
7. You are bound to the Student Conduct Code during closed periods. Violation of policies, e.g., visitation, alcohol, quiet hours, etc., will result in immediate dismissal from the campus for the duration of the closed period. Appropriate disciplinary consequences will apply.
