Health Care Administration Concentration
The Health Care Administration concentration is designed primarily for students interested in Hospital or Health Care Administration. It is likely that most of these students will pursue (eventually or immediately after graduation) a master's degree in Hospital/Health Care Administration. Ultimately, they would be likely to work for a hospital, health maintenance organization, or public or private medical facility. A cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 in all prerequisite course work is required. In addition, the student must earn a 2.0 cumulative grade point average in all course work required to complete the concentration. The concentration is achieved by completion of the following courses: ECON 120, 121,122, 227, SOCI & PHIL 223, SOCI 227, BUAD 125, 258, 354
Also, must complete one unit from BUAD 254, Psychology 250, BUAD 416 or SOCI 416.

Health Care Delivery
The Health Care Delivery track is designed for students interested in a career involving the delivery of health care services. It is anticipated that these students will pursue their education in medical school, nursing school, pharmacy school, a school of public health, or a school of allied health, or will pursue a career (with the undergraduate degree) in a health setting such as a medical clinic, counseling center, voluntary health agency, nursing home, or insurance company. Required Courses: PSYC 210, 230 and 211 or 212, SOCI, PHIL 223, SOCI 227. Plus, one of the following courses, GST 400, PSYC 260, ECON 227 or SOCI 241and/or aninternship (in any discipline) in a health care delivery setting.
Recommended: An Independent Study (in any discipline) on a health-related topic, a second Internship in a health care delivery setting, volunteer experience in a health-related setting, and additional courses related to the student's specific interests in health.
