SALEM, Va. - Roanoke College student and music minor Rose Stephens-Booker and accompanist Marianne Sandborg will present a voice recital on Saturday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. in Olin Recital Hall. The program is free and will feature works by Pergolesi, Fauré, Mozart and Puccini. There will be a reception in Smoyer Gallery immediately following the concert. Stephens-Booker, a soprano, is an environmental policy major and sociology minor who is continuing her studies in classical voice. She is a member of the Roanoke College Choir and the Second Presbyterian Church Choir in Roanoke and has made special appearances with the "Pace Brothers Trio" and the "Nonprofits." While not pursuing her musical endeavors, she is actively involved in on-campus organizations.

Roanoke College, the country's second oldest Lutheran-related college, is an independent, co-educational, four-year liberal arts college. Roanoke is one of just 276 colleges nationwide with a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious honor society. The Princeton Review names Roanoke as one of the "best in the Southeast." Roanoke's 2,000 students represent 40 states across the U.S. and 26 foreign countries.
