Conference of Rectors & Principals of Universities in Quebec: Study Abroad in Canada
CREPUQ is the leading exchange mechanism for universities in Quebec, and Roanoke College is one of the partners in this worldwide framework. Students may select semester or academic year options of study with this program.Participating institutions include:

Quebec universities offer an exceptional range of courses in English and French. Students who elect to take some of their courses in French must have advanced proficiency. Montreal and Quebec cities are two of the most attractive in North America, very French and sophisticated with large numbers of students in excellent universities.

Cost
Participants in the CREPUQ will pay tuition to Roanoke College, and are responsible for room and board at their respective host institutions.
Financial aid and scholarships also apply. The student is responsible for transportation, medical expenses, special host institution fees and personal expenses.
Application Deadlines and Procedures
For admission to this program, students will need to provide the following items by the dates listed:
- A Letter outlining academic goals in the exchange program and a list of proposed courses to be taken at host university, due by November.
- Four letters of recommendation from: academic advisor, professor who works with the student on their study program, department chair of their major and a letter of character reference. Forms should be given to faculty members by early November and turned in to the Office of International Education by the first week of December.
- An attestation of the student's proficiency in French (if he/she plans to study in that language) filled out by a professor or advisor, which is also due by December.
- A description of courses currently being taken at Roanoke College.
- A completed Roanoke College study abroad form, to be turned in with the rest of the application.
- After the initial steps of the application have been completed, a student must also complete the following upon returning to Roanoke from winter break: an outline of potential study program, (including courses), an affidavit of financial resources, proof of health insurance, and a copy of your college transcript. The deadlines for these procedures will be communicated to applicants at a later date.
