Preparation for Graduate Admissions Exams
A Special Opportunity for Roanoke College students only!
In cooperation with the Kaplan Center in Blacksburg, Roanoke College offers its students the opportunity to receive grants to pay for a portion of the preparation courses for GRE, LSAT, MCAT, and GMAT exams. Application must be made with Ms. McLawhorn in the Office of Career Services. Dates for each scheduled review course are also available. Grant applications are currently being taken for the GMAT and MCAT courses, both to begin in early spring semester, late January. See Ms. McLawhorn in the Career Center immediately if you are interested in one of these grant programs, as available spots go quickly!

Kaplan Online Good overview of the various parts of the GRE, LSAT, GMAT, MCAT, and others; includes testing and registration information.
The Princeton Review Includes a very good overview of the GRE, LSAT, GMAT, MCAT, and other exams. The site also includes free computerized practice exams that you can download.

- ETS a schedule of test dates for GRE and various entrance exam
- Law School Admissions Test (LSAT)
- Law School Admission Council Online Great resource! Includes a helpful guide for registering for the LSAT, information of Law School Forums, materials on preparing for the LSAT and a directory of LSAC member schools.
- LSAT Intelligent Solution This is a commercial site, however, they do provide a free download LSAT Sample test
- Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
- MBA Explorer sponsored by the Graduate Management Admission Council, the site provides GMAT information and allows you to register for the test on line. Also included, are links to 200 graduate business school web sites and admission and financial aid information.
Information is available in the Career Services Office about additional preparation opportunities offered by a number of national companies, including Princeton Review and others.
