Job Fairs
Students and graduates from Roanoke College are invited to participate in the following career and job fairs. For more information on any of the events, call the number indicated for the sponsor of the respective event, or contact Ms. McLawhorn in the Roanoke College Office of Career Services at (540) 375-2303.
The 25th annual CHALLENGE JOB AND INTERNSHIP FAIR will be held on November 13, 2008, at The Kirkley Hotel in Lynchburg, VA. Information is available at www.challengejobfair.com. Employers wishing registration information can email Toni McLawhorn (mclawhorn@roanoke.edu) until the online registration information is ready. CHALLENGE is a job fair specifically for seniors and juniors attending Hampden-Sydney, Lynchburg, Randolph, and Roanoke Colleges, and Hollins and Longwood Universities, and Virginia Military Institute. In 2008, students who are part of the Career Premiere Consortium will also be invited to attend Challenge.

The Roanoke College Internship Fair for 2007-08 has been held. Employers interested in participating in November 2008 (date TBA) should contact Amy Foster, Assistant Director of Career Services, at foster@roanoke.edu, or 540-375-2084.

With a few simple clicks, job seekers will be able to research companies, submit their resume and even apply for jobs of interest by filling out a questionnaire. The 10th annual Northwest North Carolina Educational Career Fair will be held on June 13 from 9am-12noon at the Stone Center for the Performing Arts, North Wilkesboro, NC.
