Honors Program

Roanoke College's Honors Program is a program designed for students who excel in academics, have strong leadership skills, and pursue numerous extracurricular activities. The Honors Program provides these students with many distinct educational opportunies and classes. The Honors program is also a wonderful way to meet new friends and form strong bonds with other Honors students.

Students in the Honors program are strongly encouraged to get involved in the campus community, as well as the surrounding community. Honors students are required to attend a certain number of on campus activities, as well as serving certain number of community service hours.

On campus events include activities such as art shows, coffee shop discussions, operas and symphonies, plays, presentations, and participating in the numerous Honors Week activities.

With Honors community service,  you can help build a house for Habitat for Humanity, be a Big Brother/Big Sister, or build trails for Roanoke Valley Greenway...the possibilities are endless!
