Religion and Philosophy

The Department of Religion and Philosophy at Roanoke College offers three separate degree programs:  Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Philosophy and Theology. The faculty members seek to foster a constructive conversation between religion and philosophy. All of these majors probe the deepest and most enduring issues of human life and action. Though differing in resources and methods, they try to answer many of the same questions. Theta Alpha Kappa is the national honor society for Theology and is available to students who excel in the field. Phi Sigma Tau is the national honor society for Philosophy.
